State of the Project - Launch of the ECO4VET Pilot Course

The ECO4VET Pilot Course was launched by the consortium on the 21st of September 2015 making available the access to the e-learning platform hosting the course. Participants can access the course directly from the project website. They can follow the course according to their personal availability; indeed, they can enter the course whenever they want, studying the different learning units and doing the different assessments and assignments required for each unit. The deadline to complete the course is the 18th of December.

The course covers knowledge, skills and competences related to Ecodesign and Sustainable Production for furniture professional profiles such as General Managers, Production Managers and Designers. The consortium decided to increase the number of possible participants, for this reason furniture sector professionals, students and unemployed people across Europe still have the possibility to join for free the on-line course. There are still some seats available to participate to the course, at least in some of the languages. The course is available in 5 languages: English, Spanish, Polish, Turkish and Romanian.

The aim of this Pilot Course, within the project framework, is to test the learning contents and the functionality of the e-learning platform. Participants will be required to send their feedbacks on the course in relation to these aspects. The feedback will be collected and analyzed by the project consortium. Starting from January, the project partners in-charge will use the results to improve the course content and structure, and to better adapting the e-learning platform to the course needs, according to the comments received by the Pilot Course participants.
