LAST CHANCE TO ENROL IN THE ECO4VET FREE ONLINE PILOT COURSE

Only few vacancies are still available for the enrolment of European furniture sector professionals and students in the free Ecodesign and Sustainable Production online course created by the ECO4VET project consortium. It will start on the 14th of September 2015 and participants will have at disposal 2 months to accomplish it.

Course characteristics

The objective of this course is fulfilling the furniture sector existing training needs related to environmental and sustainability issues. It aims to improve professionals’ capacities to tackle with new and future green economy and market challenges and support furniture companies to improve their competitiveness in relation to growing environmental standards that markets are requiring. It will cover knowledge, skills and competences related to Ecodesign and Sustainable Production for furniture professional profiles such as General Managers, Production Managers and Designers.

Furniture Sector professionals, students and unemployed people across Europe will have the possibility to join for free the on-line course. It is available in 5 European languages: English, Spanish, Polish, Turkish and Romanian. There are 15 places available for each language thet will be allocated following a selection of applicants’ CVs and their order of application.

  5. Environmental Managements System Implementation I
  6. Environmental Management System Implementation II

  9. Sustainable Production III
  10. Introduction to Ecodesign in the Furniture Sector
  11. Ecodesign Certification ISO14006
  12. Ecodesign and Environmental Analysis I
  13. Ecodesign Strategies
  14. Ecodesign and Environmental Analysis II

To finish the course, it is required to follow the 14 on-line training units that correspond to 4ECVET points (66 hours aprox.). Participants have the possibility to access the units when it is more suitable for them. Benefits for participants:

  • The innovative Pilot Course is completely free and during the course, participants will be supported and coached by different mentors from the consortium.
  • An official Certificate of Completion will be released to participants that finish the Pilot Course.
  • The names of participants that complete the course will be published on the project website with a short presentation of their academic and professional background. They will be mentioned in a project Newsletter that will reach thousands of companies, organizations, professionals from the furniture sector across Europe.
