Meet our three Spanish partners: CENFIM, AMUEBLA and SOC – CATALONIAN OCCUPATION SERVICE

PP1 – CENFIM

 

CENFIM is the wood and furniture technology centre of Catalonia (Spain). CENFIM conducts and promotes wood and furniture technology dissemination, R+D activities and training in order to support Catalan companies' competitiveness. The key activities it implements within the ECO4VET project are: the project coordination; contribute to the definition of skill needs, training paths and learning outcomes; the preparation of educational material; W5 leader; the review of the e-learning platform and it will be responsible for the English learning pilot test.

 

PP2 – AMUEBLA

AMUEBLA, founded in 2009 is a Group of stakeholders working together to address needs in the furniture and habitat sector in the Murcia Region. The key activity is supporting associated companies in promoting joint actions and to establish convergent and common strategies to procure better economic performances. In the field of Ecodesign, AMUEBLA has a wide experience in developing projects and arranging EVENTS. In the last two years, AMUEBLA coordinated the Design Green project and the Innovative project.

AMUEBLA’s contribution to the project are mainly related to its key direct contacts within the furniture industry, such as furniture associations, chambers of commerce, trade unions, R&D actors public bodies and VET providers. AMUEBLA will coordinate two WPs, the WP1 Definition of Skills Needs in the Furniture Sector and the WP8 Exploitation and it will be responsible for the Spanish learning pilot test.

 

PP8 – SOC – CATALONIAN OCCUPATION SERVICE

The SOC (Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya = Catalonian Occupation Service) manages occupational services to keep and promote the stable employment. The aims are to reduce the unemployment and protect unemployed people, offering training courses and professional advising. SOC is an autonomous and administrative organization and it is well established across the whole Catalonia Autonomous Region. The reference frame of the SOC is the European Strategy about work and the national plans about employment.

Within the project, SOC participates in dissemination and exploitation activities in WP7 and WP8. Besides, has and will contribute to activities related with the skills needs definition, joint curriculum design and delivery, pilot test and project management.
