ECO4VET

Vocational Education and Training (VET) is defined as: Education and training which aims to equip people with knowledge, know-how, skills and/or competences required in particular occupations or more broadly on the labour market.

 

This definition is contained in the Terminology of European education and training policy of the European Centre for the Developement of Vocational Training where has been adapted from European Training Foundation, 1997.
